Agenda Ordinary Meeting of the Town Council 15 June 2015

- Minutes and Matters Arising
- To approve the minutes of the Meeting held on 18 May 2015
- To consider matters arising
- Public Session - to allow members of the public to make representations, ask questions and give evidence in respect of any items of business
- Discussions with Town, District and County Councillors in respect of questions already posed, and any new matters
- To consider financial matters:
- To approve cheque payments according to the list provided
- To receive the Financial Summary to 31 May 2015
- To note receipt of information from Richard Marr, Area Manager, Ryedale and Scarborough District Areas, Highways and Transportation with regards to progress of the introduction of short term parking enforcement in the town centre and consider an appropriate response

- Town Council Office
- To receive information pertaining to progress of arrangements to move the Town Council office to Church House and consider an appropriate response
- To consider and agree a ceiling figure for the legal fees
- To note receipt of further information from NYCC bus subsidy reductions and consider an appropriate response www.northyorks.gov.uk/bussubsidy
- To note receipt of the Ryedale PROW Survey Report from the Ramblers Association
- To consider making a donation to the RDC Chairman's Charity Fund
- To consider and agree the installation of blinds at the Moorside Room
- To consider and agree to include the following dates in the 'Welcome to Kirkbymoorside' panel;
- 'Kirkbymoorside Horticultural Show' September 26th
- 'Marie Curie Annual Coffee Morning' October 9th
- '2015 marks Town Brass Band Bi-Centenary'
- 'Information Panel'

- To note comments received in respect of the potential sites for an 'Information Panel' and permissions required
- To note that the cost of production of the artwork and content of the 'Information Panel' would be met by RDC whilst the cost of the frame would be payable by the Town Council

- To agree to express support for the Human Rights Act and the positive impact it has had on rights protections of individuals in the UK; welcome the guidance the Human Rights Act provides for public authorities in ensuring policies are developed in line with international human rights standards; and call on the Government to retain the Human Rights Act, the protections within it, and the UK's international obligations under the European Convention on Human Rights.
